A couple of days ago we took a trip to the largest mall in this country. Supposedly, for a while, this was the largest mall in the world, but in the meantime there have been other malls built that are bigger. It's still so new (opened in 2007) that the top two floors don't actually have any stores in them.

We let the girls spend some time in the Fun Zone. Picture McDonald's play place on steroids.  Sweet Pea was too young to play in there with Lil Pumpkin, but there were several little rides she could go on. There were bumper cars and a swinging ship too but both girls were entertained by the simplest of all the toys.

Sweet Pea was perfectly happy just sitting on this and turning the wheel. We did let her ride it several times, but she didn't notice when the movement stopped.

Lil Pumpkin spent the entire hour going up and down this slide. She briefly convinced one of the ladies working there to go up into the rest of the play area to help her explore, but ultimately she came back to the slide.

Even though you can't tell in this picture, I'm still very much pregnant. :)

  1. You're right, you don't look pregnant at all!!! If my face looks that great at the end, I'll be happy!

Oh, and I'm with you on "supposedly" the biggest mall in the world. I did a quick search to see if I am just being overly critical of India's claims to "biggest", "first", etc. :) Yeah, didn't see it on any of the lists. Even the one in Dubai with snow-skiing, ice skating, etc, etc isn't at the top of the list!!

Feel like the little one may want to make an appearance soon?

  2. that's so fun-packed...

yes .. .you are seen in the previous entry ...!!
    hope you are doing fine

  3. that looks like so much fun!!! On many a cold, rainy day I've wished for a mall or something in doors! Glad you had fun :-)
Thanks for remembering our family last week. We're remembering yours, and hope that baby comes soon!

  4. Seriously? It was the biggest mall in the world? Wow! Never knew that.

  5. I love that last picture! You guys look cute!
Looks like fun! Which mall is that? How fun!

  6. Kara and Emily,
The mall is one kilometer long, but even if it was at one time the biggest in the world I'm not sure they could count it because the top two floors didn't have any stores. haha.
I think (and the doctor said) Jyoti might be arriving today or tomorrow!

We are definitely taking advantage of our time in the capitol to enjoy the malls around here.
    Thanks for lifting us up.

Thanks for the compliments on the photo - I thought it was pretty cute that little girl got in the picture too. It's the Ambi mall in Gurgaon.
