On a Recipe for Made-From-Scratch Maple Syrup

Did you know you can make syrup from scratch?  It's so much cheaper.  And it's SUPER easy.

So, here's the recipe for

Made-From-Scratch Maple Syrup

1. You'll need one cup each of the following:
  • water
  • white sugar
  • brown sugar
2. You'll also need vanilla and maple flavorings.



3. Toss all of the ingredients into a pot and heat until simmering, stirring occasionally.
4. Simmer for a few minutes and let cool just until thickened before serving.



    5. Serve over some of The Pioneer Woman's Sour Cream Pancakes for a melt-in-your-mouth meal.
