The blizzard of 2009 came to Oklahoma and we were there to experience it! It made for a beautiful white Christmas, as long as you were looking from the inside out.
On our way from my parents' house to my in-laws' house (an hour's drive under normal conditions), we passed 29 cars that had been abandoned because they couldn't make it through the blizzard the day before.
But things eventually calmed down and we were able to go out and play in the snow.
This was the first real snow the youngest two girls have seen. Little Punkin' saw real snow when she was 9 months old, but obviously she doesn't remember it.
The only other snow the oldest two have seen was in Hyderabad, India (of all places) at "Snow World". It's a huge warehouse full of fake snow where we paid to play in the snow. The coats, hats, and gloves are provided for you.
How did you spend your Christmas (and the day after)? Do you have any pictures to share? I'd love to see them (even if no snow is involved)!
