On Week 15 of Homeschooling

After more than a month off from school, we started back this week.  Things went pretty smoothly.  The most difficult thing was figuring out how to take photos while holding a baby!  Guess I really can't complain.
Tot School

Sugar Plum loves her baby Elmo that she got for Christmas!

Letter V
Sweet Pea spent a long time working to build each letter of the alphabet using "How to Build an A" that she got for Christmas.  She only needed help with the letter W and the letter Z.

Tapestry of Grace

This week we focused on Canaan and read stories from Joshua and Judges.

Science in the Kitchen

Every once in awhile I get the courage to do a science experiment with the kids.  This week we experimented with "disappearing water".  We took two rags, dampened them, and placed one on a plate and one in a sealed bag.  We set them on the window sill to see which one will be the driest the next day.  Lil Pumpkin predicted the one in the bag would be drier.

Baby School

Well, not really school for him, but here are some pictures of what he does while we do school.

  1. ohh my word he is adorable!! Love the build a letter book it looks like so much fun!

  2. Hi Shannon! Congrats on your new little guy...he is too cute! I love the pictures of "Tot School" we homeschooled our oldest last year and we had a blast. We too love the book where you build the letters.
I have had you guys on my heart and mind a lot since Nathan has been home. I am praying for you and your family and I am so inspired by your awesome faith and willingness to serve our God.

I am looking forward to following your journey!
